I have been learning and studying game code for a while now but i don’t really learn that well by looking at a screen/paper and reading about every thing about it. instead i have learned so far by studying code for games on xbox written in c++ and pc games written in java. I have a jtagged xbox(modified to run unsigned code) for this reason. what i would do is basically dissect my favorite game and study the code, identifying what does what. then when i think i have made a good modification or added code to it correctly i would test it. here is a video of what i have done: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lO7a_cvikIA
does anyone know if i can get any internships or any hands on experience where i can learn more? i’m 14 by the way.(almost 15)
