Lately with all the rumors about the next Xbox and next Playstation consoles having no support for used games, people have started noticing that in the back of games (MW3 for example) that have online multiplayer features, state that the features aren’t guaranteed to function properly and those features can be taken away at the will of the developer. Also in the license user agreement it states that technically when you buy and open a game, you can’t sell it or trade it, also implying that you can’t b/c even though you paid for it YOU DON’T OWN IT!!!!! This is true and a load of bs. So… is it illegal for a game developer to sell a product that is supposed to be in full functionality (when it’s not), that the consumer can’t own even if they paid for it and they must buy more things (online passes, DLC, etc) to experience the FULL game experience when you’re buying it to get that experience without paying for anything else? here are some videos from a youtuber who has addressed this issue with a lot of logical explanations:
