So my internet connection, ever since i can remember, has been very mean to me…So what happens is, for some reason, its EXTREMELY “choppy.” For example, one of the biggest things that annoys me, is during streaming videos from youtube, or movies on Netflix . What will happen, is my internet will run strong, for like 20 seconds (almost always less then that though) , before dropping down to like 0 Mbs or something and stop the video from loading, and it will not pick back up, once it happens, i must reload the page, and just skip to where i was. And i will have to do this several times, during even a very short video. Another thing with the internet, is that websites often do not load, because as, or right after i click on a link, the internet will cut out. Also, I use my xBox 360 to use Netflix for movies, and throughout the movies, very frequently it will stop playing, and have a loading sign in the middle of the screen, usually taking up to 5 minutes to continue the movie, and it happens many, many times during the movies. Along with the xBox issues, while playing games online, after like half a round, or a full round if Im lucky, i will usually get 1 of 4 messages. 1). ‘Could not connect to server.’ 2). ‘Could not connect to host.’ 3) ‘Lost connection to game. These three messages remove me from the current game immediately, no warning or disconnection sign on screen. or 4) Disconnected from xBox Live.” and im immediately signed completely out of XBL.
The problems that he have, im pretty sure there is NO ONE in the world has the same problems that we do! or at least ive never heard of a story closely related to how bad ours is. If you were here, you would realize that these issues, are VERYaggravatingg and constant!
Now these problems have been occurring for several years! In the house, we have 3 computers; a desktop, and two laptops, all of which have the same problems, whether connected with an ethernet cable, or wirelessly. For the life of me, i cannot find the answer to our troubles. We have replaced the router, replaced the modem, replaced the wiring, had some wiring throughout the house re-wired, we have gone through a few computers, we have switched between internet providers several times, we have had workers from the internet companies come to check it out, and they could not find the issue, And through all that, the problems still persists. I know for a fact that its not P.C, or xbox issues, because i have brought them to other houses and they worked perfectly! And then came back home to the same problems…Now, as a last resort, i come to you, the community, of the public, of the world of Yahoo, telling you my life story of my internet frustrations, hoping that by some chance, some tech guru will come to the rescue, or any of you for that matter, to save me from my misery. Any info on ANNNNYYYYTHHIINNNG that could help, would be incredibly appreciated!
