Author: so for my birthday which is coming up in a couple of months, my mom said that she’ll either get me a ps3, laptop, or HDTV, and i have no clue what i want. i’m a huge gamer, and she knows i wanted each of these things for a while i just don’t know which one i want or the one that would be the best choice. i want a ps3 because i already have an xbox 360, but a bunch of my friends have ps3 and i want to be able to play multiplayer with them, also the ps3 game exclusives just blow my mind and i really want to play them. (uncharted, heavy rain) i want the HDTV because the current tv i use for gaming is old and doesn’t have hd at all so all of my games look super sh*tty and gritty and blurry. i want the laptop because i play pc games too like WOW and regular pc video games for my steam account and my computer that i use now is overloaded with a bunch of files and crap and it always freezes. it is old, to add on, but i don’t complain to my mom about something that i have thats too old because i think thats pushing it. (well i dont complain to my mom at all 
) which one do you think would be the best choice? sorry its kind of long!!

get a laptop i recommend alienware or asus
Gaming pc, fast as hell, you can get hd moniters, you can play games and watch online tv and the games play way better on good pc’s rather then consoles
Well, automatically rule out the laptop if you’re planning on using it for gaming. Unless you plan on spending over a thousand dollars for a laptop that will AT BEST be mediocre for gaming, it’s not worth it.
Now, between the PS3 and the TV it’s a little trickier. I assume that if you’re using an old TV, your games look terrible. The improvement that one gains via an HDTV is immense. If you’re looking for quality of gaming, at least graphically, you may want to choose the TV. However, if you can live with your current graphical situation i’d choose the PS3.

Id say say get a the HDTV since you have bad graphics.
I would suggest the PC, but just kick the laptop idea out of the way unless you want to pay a company like alienware 5000 dollars for a low end pc. You could try to build a desktop yourself, you save a shitload of money. The only thing you will need to add is:
-An operating system
-A dvd drive (optional)
As long as you have a monitor and keyboard, you’re good to go. If your monitor is **** i would also suggest getting a new one.
