Which Video Game Console Is Better?

I own a wii (blah blah blah, I like it) and I am a big fan of the Resident Evil games. Thanks to the remaking of the games known as “Chronicles” I am in posession of Resident Evil 0, 1, 3 (Gamecube), 4, Umbrella Chronicles, and Darkside Chronicles. That only leaves four:
Resident Evil 2 (I’ll eBay it eventually)
Code: Veronica (I should have it by Sunday)
Resident Evil 5
the upcoming Resident Evil 6
Problem is, RE 5 and 6 are only supported on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. After my bout with Bioshock 2 and the zillions of updates needed to start the game, I refuse to use the PC versions. I am then left with a choice between Xbox 360 or PS3.
I wanted to know which console is cheaper or all-around better. I grew up with a Gamecube controller in my hands, so that’s what I’m most used to using. I don’t need a console with internet connection because I won’t use it anyway. I’d also prefer something that took up less space next to my TV.
So…Should I save up for a PS3 or an Xbox 360?

i have a philips 48″ TV, and when i hook up my xbox 360 to it, to play, there is significant lag between my controller and the TV. i have researched this, and so far what i have seen that helps people is putting the TV in Game mode, turning off the 120hz, and changing the display on the xbox from 1080p to 720p. i’ve done all of these but the lag has only improved a little bit, so how to i fix this problem? because it is extremely frustrating that i can’t play my xbox on my big tv.
ps. the xbox works perfectly fine on all of the other tvs in my house.

Why Can’t I Upgrade My The Breezehome House In My Xbox 360 Video Game Skyrim?

I just started playing Skyrim about 2 or 3 days ago and I just bought my first house located in Whiterun. Right after I bought it I checked it out and left, I did nothing to it but leave one of my companions in it. So then I come back after doing a couple quests and go back to Proventus Avenicci to try to upgrade it, none of the dialogue options have anything to do with my house. Later I found the House improvement book I “read” it hoping that would trigger the dialogue options but nothing. I have done nothing to the house since buying it, I have not dropped the book since receiving it. And for some reason I can’t upgrade. Is there something else I need to do? Wait a certain amount of time? Talk to someone else? I really have no idea why it’s not working.

Ive been at my school for 3 years now and this is my fourth year. Im now in year 10. Ive had NO friends for these 3 years. In my 3 old schools I had plenty of friends and wouldnt be bored during lunch or recess and would have someone to talk to in class. But when I cam to high school I cant seem to find any friends. See the problem is that Im sort of shy, not THAT shy but a bit. Also I cant find ANYONE with something in common. Out of school I have PLENTY of friends but in school I fail at it. I like things like video games and going on the computer and watch some TV shows. But at school the only games people talk about IS Call of Duty and I HATE those games. I kind find anyone who watches same shows on tv as I do and everyone has either A PS3 or Xbox 360 while I have a Wii. Now I see everyone hating on Wii at school so yeah I cant go and say “hey everyone I play Wii and its my favourite out of the 3″. Theyll just laugh for a few seconds and stop.And also they type of games I play are completely different. Everyone in my school like violent games while Im into things like Mario, Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Racing games and some fps. PLEASE HELP. I have such AMAZING friends out of school but not in school. Im a 14 year old boy btw and I also dont really enjoy sports too much. Oh yeah an my music selection is very different to everyone else too.

Do People In The U.k. Generally Refer To Video Games As Computer Games, Even Ones On Consoles?

I don’t live in the U.K. and I have yet to actual go there, so I’m guessing based on a song and a book that refers to video game consoles (eg PlayStation, XBox, Wii) as computers and games for those consoles as computer games. In the U.S., we generally refer to them as video games or just games. I don’t want to make any assumptions about the U.K. though, and that’s where you come in.

ok, so i have been wondering, how many video games have games inside of them? there is a minecraft mod that adds a computer, and in the XBLI marketplace the game “Total Miner: Forge” has a game inside it called Total Invaders. i was wondering if games like, say, gta have arcades that you can walk up and play in. only list it on the Xbox 360 and PC please! thanks so much!

I’m trying to think of a new gamertag. It was “IMAfurrieZEBRA”
Im a girly girl and I want that to somewhat show in my name. Nothing like a girly girl kicking *** I play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. My husband and I have a clan and our clan tag is DAZE, so that will be in front of my name. I won’t have room for a long name since my gamer tag will be “DAZE ” and then whatever name you help me choose I like zebras, LOVE pearls(which I reeeally want incorporated in my name, it HAS to have something about pearls in it), pink, diamonds, everything nature; flowers, birds, trees, rain, etc., the color white, leopard print, video games, Victorian…etc. Hopefully that is enough info about me to get an awesome/cool/girly gamer tag! Let me start by saying we have been together over two years. He isn’t crazy, possessive or controlling. I have always been into video games but I got xbox live within the past year and play on it often. He has xbox live, too. He gets jealous over other guys on there. It is true that I get hit on quite often (not just through xbox but through people knowing I play xbox) and it understandably makes him upset. Neither of us having many opposite gender friends and we both hold firmly on that, if you think it’s okay to be close friends with someone of the opposite sex each to their own but my boyfriend and I have decided it’s not appropriate. I would rather not give up my live but most people who play are guys and I don’t want to make my boyfriend upset anymore, any happy mediums? Don’t waste your time and say my boyfriend is being ridiculous because he is not, please. I just want to find a compromise.
